KRATORNAS was formed in 1995 by Bruno Zamora (that’s me) as a solo project. It stayed that way from 1995 - 2010 (extinct). During those active years, I worked with "UG Record Labels" from USA, Mexico, France, Germany and others I can’t recall.
It all happened because there were no pressing plants in the country I lived in at the time. If I’d had access to factories back then, I wouldn’t have worked with any of those labels.
The first two albums were rushed. They were "panned," but they weren’t even mixed. Looking back, there were a lot of mistakes on the first album, and the same mistakes were repeated on the second. I wouldn’t rush a third album, so I cut it there and relocate.
Other than imposed deadlines, I’ve also dealt with labels changing my submitted layouts, and the grand power trip was altering the words in my lyrics.
EXTINCT : There might be new releases, but I’m doing it because I love it, not because I have to. I do it as I see fit! Also, if a paid drummer tells me I have to write songs now because they won’t be around next month, they're out.
From 1995 to 2012, I didn’t have the resources to record, but I used what I had.
I limited things based on the capacity of the equipment.
